Johannes Kepler was born in 1571 (see image), German astronomer, astrologer, mathematician, cosmologist, musical theorist, natural philosopher and Lutheran theologian, who empirically discovered the laws of the same name that regulate the movement of the planets, a convinced supporter of the Copernican system.
