In 1964, the Ranger 6 space probe was launched (see photo); its mission is to transport cameras and then fall to the lunar surface.

In 1996 the amateur astronomer Yuki Hyakutake discovered the comet that would take his name (see photo) using 25×150 binoculars. Asteroid 7291 Hyakutake was named in his honor.

Nel 1996 l’astrofilo Yuki Hyakutake scopre la cometa che prenderà il suo nome (vedi foto) utilizzando un binocolo 25×150. L’asteroide 7291 Hyakutake è stato così denominato in suo onore. 

In 2013, Naro-1, South Korea’s first space launcher, put the STSAT-2C satellite into orbit with the aim of demonstrating technology for future spacecraft.

Nel 2013 Naro-1, il primo lanciatore spaziale sudcoreano, mette in orbita il satellite STSAT-2C con lo scopo di dimostrare la tecnologia per i futuri veicoli spaziali.
