In 1882, Charles Robert Darwin, biologist, anthropologist and explorer, famous for having formulated the theory of the evolution of animal and plant species, of which he collected many of the data on a trip around the world on the ship HMS Beagle, and in particular during his stop at the Galápagos Islands🤩. His ideas contributed to shaping the culture of the twentieth century and we remember his work: “the origin of species by natural selection (1859)”.

Le sue idee hanno contribuito a formare la cultura del Novecento e ricordiamo di lui il suo lavoro: “l’origine delle specie per selezione naturale (1859)”.
