In 1948 Giorgio Parisi was born, an Italian physicist and academic, Nobel Prize for Physics in 2021 for his studies on complex systems, active in theoretical physics, especially in the field of statistical physics and field theory. For the remarkable results achieved, he is one of the most authoritative physicists at an international level, as well as one of the best Italian scientists. With Carlo Rubbia, he is the only Italian physicist who is a member of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America. Also noteworthy are his contributions in the field of elementary particle physics, in particular in quantum chromodynamics and string theory.

Nel 1948 nasce Giorgio Parisi, fisico e accademico italiano, Premio Nobel per la fisica nel 2021 per i suoi studi sui sistemi complessi, attivo in fisica teorica, soprattutto nel campo della fisica statistica e in teoria dei campi. Per i notevoli risultati conseguiti, è uno dei fisici più autorevoli a livello internazionale, nonché uno dei migliori scienziati italiani. Con Carlo Rubbia, è l’unico fisico italiano membro della National Academy of Sciences degli Stati Uniti d’America. Notevoli anche i suoi contributi nel campo della fisica delle particelle elementari, in particolare in cromodinamica quantistica e teoria delle stringhe.
