Urbain Le Verrier was born in 1811, a French astronomer known for the discovery of Neptune thanks to mathematical calculations (to compare the observed orbit of Uranus from the orbit predicted by the laws of Kepler and Newton) together with his previous astronomical observations.

Nel 1811 nasce Urbain Le Verrier, astronomo francese noto per la scoperta di Nettuno grazie ai soli calcoli matematici (per confrontare l’orbita osservata di Urano dall’orbita prevista dalle leggi di Keplero e Newton) unitamente alle sue osservazioni astronomiche precedenti.
